Mechanical watch
Timing instruments of mechanical vibration systems, such as pendulum clocks, pendulum clocks, etc. Its working principle is to use a vibration system with constant period and continuous vibration. Multiplying the vibration period by the number of vibrations, it is equal to the elapsed time, time = watch vibration period × number of vibrations. It is generally composed of energy, gear train, escapement, vibration system, pointer mechanism and additional mechanisms. Power–the clockwork or heavy hammer provides energy for the mechanical clock to work. Through the speed increase of the gear train, the winding can run continuously for many days. The escapement makes the timing frequency of the clock conform to people’s idea of ”second”. The pendulum rudder or balance wheel controls the speed of the clock, and the timekeeping (engraving) mechanism tells people: What time was the last beep just now.
Digital watch
The basic part consists of electronic components. The working principle of electronic clocks is designed based on the physical phenomenon of “electricity generates magnetism and magnetism generates electricity”. That is, electrical energy is converted into magnetic energy, and then magnetic energy is converted into mechanical energy, which drives the hour and minute hands to rotate to achieve the purpose of timekeeping.
Transistor balance watch
It uses dry batteries as energy sources, transistors as switches, and balance springs as the oscillation system.
