How to repair common faults of electronic watches?
Trouble phenomenon: The display is disordered, and the second display flashes faintly. Cause of failure: poor contact. The integrated circuit is malfunctioning. The common electrode terminal of the LCD screen is broken.
Repair method: Pry open the back cover, take out the watch core, and loosen the 4 screws on the bottom plate. Take out the bottom plate, you can see that there are two pieces of conductive rubber on the two rows of electrode terminals of the LCD screen. The fault is that it has poor contact with the two rows of electrode terminals on the bottom plate. Paper sheets of appropriate thickness can be placed on the upper and lower sides of the LCD screen where they are in contact with the watch case. Then install the parts in place, and the display screen can be normal. Replace the integrated circuit board. Replace the LCD screen with the same specifications.
Trouble phenomenon: Pressing the S: button loses its effect, and the time cannot be corrected. The cause of the failure: the button of the watch case does not touch the contact piece of the watch core. Repair method: Open the back cover and do not rush out the watch core. Press the S: button and carefully check whether it is in contact with the watch core contact piece. If you don’t touch it, you can take out the watch core. Put some small pieces of paper under the corresponding contact piece of S: so that 52 is in contact with the contact piece. If S: The button is in contact with the watch core contact piece. S: There is a foreign body on the button, just remove the foreign body.
