What are the types of waterproof watches?
The waterproof specifications of general watches are divided into the following categories: 30 meters, 50 meters, 100 meters, 300 meters, and 500 meters.
30 meters: refers to general life waterproofing, that is, the water droplets splashed when washing hands. There are also raindrops that fall when it rains lightly. But be careful not to be too long and not to be worn in the sauna room.
50 meters: There is no difference from 30 meters, so it can be ignored.
100 meters: You can take him to wash the car and take a shower. But do not soak in water.
300 meters: swimming activities are possible, but only suitable for shallow swimming. Do not understand that it can be at 300 meters.
500 meters: Only this level can dive underwater. That is, it looks like around 1,200, maybe more. But don’t do it according to the established value, it may be the limit that your watch can withstand. So don’t use this method to test table performance.
Finally, do not interpret the waterproof depth as the depth in water. Everyone’s pressure theory is correct, but other things are wrong. For watches with steel straps, plastic straps, and rubber straps. If the leather strap does not let him stand even a little bit of water, including your sweat.
If the watch gets wet, wipe it dry at any time. Prevent chemical substances from contacting the watch, otherwise it will affect the case and waterproof rubber ring and reduce the waterproof performance. Do not leave the watch in a high temperature (ten 60°C) and low temperature (-10°C) environment for a long time. If water vapor spots appear in the watch, they should be removed in time to prevent the mechanism from rusting.
